The world knows many beautiful hiking trails, differing from very short to extremely long, blistering cold to blazing hot, very easy to notoriously strenuous. But one thing is for sure, once you’ve opened your eyes to the wild, you will experience an awakening like you’ve never had before in your entire life. If anybody has ever told you to take a hike, and you never listened… then shame on you. Because it’s actually really great advice. There’s something special about being out there for hours and hours, soaking up all the fresh air and everything.
It’s never too late to start. The best time to begin, is always now. And you have every opportunity to do so. Heck, there are well over 100 long distance trails in the US alone. There are hiking trails all over the world. But if you’re living in the US, then there’s no good reason for you to not go on a hike. Don’t let your life pass by without having experienced it. There’s nothing quite like it.
With all these trails in the US alone, there no way I could possibly hike or write about them all. There’s too many of them and a single lifetime isn’t enough to cover them all. However, I do have a couple of favorite ones that I’ve been on. And those are the ones I am currently doing write-ups about. You want to check out some of my favorite trails?

If you’re still not sure where you’d like to go and hit the trail, then you can check out a short, but useful list of hiking resources over at Norcal Public Media. They have some videos up for some of their favorite hiking trails. One of them I liked in particular, and that is the Armstrong Woods. I don’t know what you guys think, but it looks pretty gorgeous to me. I can’t wait to hit the Armstrong Woods myself!
